About Us

Mary Boyd – “MrsKGB”

My score books have 36 possible hands all in one column. The outside vinyl holds multiple convention cards for several different partners, and they are made from heavy card stock so they slip in and out easily. The inside of the vinyl holds the scoring values up to 7NT and also the defeated contracts scores. The middle of the book has 100 pages of game sheets to record your individual results.

When I started playing bridge, I didn’t like the individual sheets they handed out at the clubs, so I went home and made my own! It took me several days and several tries to get it just the way I wanted it, but then I started to use it. My partner loved it and asked me to make her one, so I did, and then others, and then it snowballed to what it is today.

I still sell them to anyone who wants one, right out of my home. It’s all for the “LOVE OF THE GAME,” but I’m not big enough to even be set up for credit cards (sorry).

I need to thank my wonderful husband, Ken Boyd, my mentor and teacher, for encouraging me to learn this fabulous game. He has played for many years, whereas I’ve only been playing a few years.

Ken Boyd – “TheKGB”

Ken is known throughout much of the country as “The guy with the vest.” His denim bridge vest is now sporting well over 400 different applique patches that he’s collected from tournaments all over the country, where he has gained some national notoriety. As you can tell, he has played in many tournaments and is very proud to display his unique collection but states that it is beginning to get “too heavy.”

Ken is a Ruby Life Master and has been playing since 1982. He is a Certified Club Director and previous Club President and Club Manager.
